If any of you still remember Anthony (Santan) Barretto, Zanzibar. Currently residing in Dar es Salaam. He is the elder brother of Lt. Joseph(Goa) and Anna(Mumbai).
His last place of employment was mechanic for the Zanzibar Police at Ziwani Police barracks.
The medalist are his grand children.
Best wishes to them all.

Anthony after working many years for AutoSales in Malindi area, then worked for the Zanzibar Police Mobile Force (PMF) well before the revolution took place. Anthony a.k.a. Santan was an awesome sprinter in his prime years. Retired and is enjoying good health both in Zanzibar and sometimes in Dar es Salaam when visiting his children and their extended families.
Hope many SJCSZ exstudents are now able to recall him.

Knew Santana very well during my days in Zanzibar. He came from a very good family. His parents were tailors I think. Thank Claude for this good news of his grandchildren
